AneuScreen Risk Profiling

AneuScreenTM for Brain Aneurysm Risk Profiling

Building upon the AneuScreen platform, we have begun examining how gene expression changes in different aneurysms, namely those that are more likely to rupture. We have identified genes associated with high-risk aneurysms using a multitude of clinical metrics (including aneurysm size, PHASES score). Models developed in these studies achieved accuracies ³80%. We currently have a multi-center study underway to examine these genes in a larger population. The most informative of these genes will be added to our original detection panel to create AneuScreen+, which will have the capability to predict if an individual has an aneurysm and if so, how dangerous that aneurysm is.
